Boston Market today. Gordo had the baked atlantic cod with creamed spinach, seasoned corn and a root beer. Flaka had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes, gravy and stuffing (Flaka sure does love her carbs!). After Lunch, the word was "restoration". They found 106 words in there! Super FUN!

Hi to Flaka y Gordo -- Love to read about your lunch. Are you guys married? Close co-workers? Do you ever bring a lunch from home? Just curious -- not sure why, kind of the way I'm not sure I read this site? It would be interesting if people added how much they spent on their lunch. Also, where did the Shady Palms guy go? Flaka and Gordo also had Wendy's for lunch! Not the ones to be swayed by just anything they see on the television, however, they each had the most usual of Wendy's offerings. Flaka enjoyed a single with cheese and lettuce, a baked potato and a diet coke. Gordo had a single with cheese, pickles, mayo and ketchup, a side salad and a root beer.

Today's lunch was pretty much like yesterday's. I had the rest of the can of Amy's vegetarian chili, but with HOMEMADE MILLET PILAF instead of rice. (The millet was made in the pressure cooker, just like the rice!) For a touch of extra variety, I added Dave's Insanity Hot Sauce to the mix today instead of the salsa I added yesterday. I ate this while watching "Scrubs", which added extra zippy ZING to the experience. Still, I only rate it "OK".

Lunch from KFC today. Gordo had a three piece dark meal (extra crispy) with macaroni & cheese, cole slaw and a Pepsi. Today I had half a can or so of Amy's vegeterian chili (so-called SPICY variety, which can only be considered truly spicy if you're from, like, England, like an old boyfriend of mine who thought salt and pepper were almost too spicy). I had it over a bit of brown rice that I MADE ALL BY MYSELF IN MY PRESSURE COOKER, a slice of "Pepper Jack" soy cheese, and a bit of garlic chipotle salsa tossed in for extra zesty points.
It was pretty good, but any true enjoyment was tainted by the knowledge that, after I was done, I was going to have to clean up some pots.
