Josie!!! Eating "nothing" will not help you keep weight off in the long run. Starving yourself literally puts your body into "starvation mode". Your body starts to store MORE fat to protect itself because it doesn't know when it will get more food. If you really do have a weight problem and would like to lose weight, the best way to do it, I think, is to eat small portions of healthy foods every couple of hours and drink a lot of water. It works great! I lost 50 lbs. and it's staying off. PS I had cheese tortalini and veggies and dip for lunch.

For lunch today I had a mac & cheese dish that Celia made. It was awesome. This time she added peppers to the dish. Every time she makes it, it gets better and better. I finished it off with some apple sauce. Baseball starts on Sunday! Sox-Yankees...7pm!

my lunch was not fun. I had left over taco meat with a small block o' cheese. All i could find to drink was water so there wasn't anything exciting there. the only fun part of my meal was a few pieces of Dole pineapple with some yoghurt.

Went to Wendy's and had the #5 combo w/ chili instead of fries. I take it back to my desk, and I open the chili... I see a strange yellowish stringy substance floating in there. Trying to think what it might be, I was reminded me of the recent news story about someone finding a human finger in their Wendy's chili... I figured out that it was just melted cheese (which I had specifically said "no" to). Needless to say, my appetite had left so I threw the chili out.

Lunch today was a PB and no J with chips that I ate at my desk. I drank water while I ate. Then I went to Starbuck's and read the newspaper. I don't know how people sit at their desks all day and then eat lunch at their desks without ever going out. I think people like that should watch Office Space. It will give them a new view on life. It was raining hard today so i went to Subway because it's only 2 doors down from work. I got an italian sub and took advantage of their new "Double Meat for 69 cents." I know some people that would pay much more than that to experience an Italian sandwich with double meat. Sorry, that was just silly and dirty. Anywho, it was alright. Subway is never very good and rarely fun. I also got some sun chips, original flavor. Overall, just ok.

A subway meatball sub eaten at my desk. I usually hate subway subs, but there's one right next door and i was in a hurry, so i grabbed the meatball sub. It was ok. I hate their subs usually because they are 95% shredded iceburgh lettuce and 2% bad deli meat. 2% soggy tomatoes. 1% nasty condements. And i never get lettuce or tomatoe on my subs, so that leaves me with a little bit of bad deli meat and nasty condements on some freashly baked bread. I'll give them that, the bread ain't bad. And since i went with meatball, i had enough between the bread, but the meatballs aren;t very good. But lunch was a little more than just fun because i've been checking out my fantasy baseball team i just drafted on sunday, and i kinda like what i see.
