Went to lunch with my friend Nicole at a cafe by her work...which happens to be in one of those industrial/business parks. The place was hopping with people and the ambiance was laughable, but the sandwiches were cheap and really well made. Fresh tomatoes...however a sign on the wall stated that there would be a 50 cent surcharge on tomato slices b/c they were in short supply. Who knew?!?

instead of getting the tomato mozzarella and basil sandwich from cosi that i was craving, i instead went to cafe europa and got a chicken blt, which is what i was craving yesterday. BARF. there's weird crap all over the chicken (looks like mouse droppings, though i'm fairly confident that it's not) and the bacon is weird. bleaugh. at least the cape cod chips are good, and i've heard murmurings of free cookies a few cubicles over.

My company took a bunch of us out to the Playwright on 35th Street. Our waiter wasn't the best and the chicken pot pie was more like a bland soup with pastry dough resting on top. However, the company was great, and the conversation was excellent.

An Onion Bagel w/swiss cheese, tomato and dijon mustard. And half a bag of pretzels. Cup of Water. I had to send the bagel back at first because they gave me honey mustard instead of dijon. If there's one thing I can't abide its sweet mustard. That and mayo. Yuck!
