I miss Mangia Mangia today. It's raining, and I was late to work because I overslept, so I went downstairs to Delmonico's for some comfort food -- a cheeseburger and fries. Mangia Mangia's burgers and fries are so much better than Delmonico's, which charges way more. Stinks.

Lunch today was a taco salad/self-made tacos from the Whole Foods prepared foods section. They have a great do-it-yourself bar where you can put all kinds of great stuff in your taco and someone will even toss your salad! ... oooh wow, we just had another earthquake... scary.

Johnny's Subs in West Palm Beach is finally back to delivering again after the hurricane madness... so...
Today Flaka had a grilled chicken sub with melted swiss cheese, cheez doodles and a diet coke. Gordo had a cuban sub with salt & vinegar chips and a root beer. They both added Johnny's delicious macaroni salad to their lunch orders to make today's lunch less predictable and move it from a Fun+ to Super FUN!

I had lunch with my coworkers today. The three admins and one Senior Manager in the service dining room. dessert coconut pie, brownie, cheesecase, choclate covered strawberry, string beans, salad, fish, potatoes. IT was a buffet. I went to this restaurant that has been around a long time by the office, but I've never gone. It's called the Little Hong Kong Cafe... I had the wor won ton soup. It was pretty good, the won tons were pretty fresh and not gooey or doughy. They weirdly packed my to-go containers so that the soup juice was separate from the soup stuff. Overall - considering there's not really any good Chinese food around here, not bad.

For lunch today I went to Salem Beer Works with Michelle. She's one of the purchasing people here at McCue. We thought about having some beer with lunch, but McCue frowns on that...damn them. Had Jack In the Box - the greasiest fast food joint out there... but I really like those chicken strips and I had seasoned curly fries. Love those too! I'm drinking a large (Diet, of course) Coke and having it all at my desk while the smell of fried fast food makes my office-mates jealous! ha! too bad!

Went to a Mexican restaurant near work for the first time. The food was pretty good--real beans, not canned.
